The “ginger-affe” (gingerbread giraffe) has returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for the 2022 holiday season. With the life-size gingeraffe comes the return of the gingeraffe cookie, too.
The gingeraffe (and a gingerbread zebra) can be seen in the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby.
The gingeraffe cookie is available in The Mara.
The Mara also has hot cocoa available for $3.49 during the winter.
Gingeraffe Cookie – $6.29
Signature gingerbread cookie with milk chocolate buttercream filling
This is a classic gingerbread cookie, perfectly cooked and moist.
It does crumble easily, so get a napkin or plate to catch stray pieces.
The snowflake at the center is a crunchy sugar decoration. While cute and technically edible, we don’t recommend eating it. It’s not easy to chew, and the dessert is sweet enough without it.
The giraffe cookie is layered against another cookie covered in sweet icing, making it look like a Christmas tree.
Are you hoping to visit the gingeraffe and try this cookie during the 2022 holiday season? Let us know in the comments.
