Reviews for Gramercy Park Food Truck for 2022 Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort
*NEW* Chicken Philly – $14.99
Marinated seared chicken with sautéed green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and white cheddar cheese sauce, served with seasoned curly fries
The Chicken Philly is huge and the most difficult to eat of the three sandwiches. The chunks of chicken are really large, and there are a lot of onions and peppers piled on top.
The white cheese sauce is delicious, though. It’s a pretty basic sandwich, so if you’re looking to grab something filling quickly, this is a solid choice. Curly fries are the perfect side for this dish, too.
You may need to sit down to eat it, though, and be sure to grab some extra napkins.
*NEW* Cheesesteak Philly – $14.99
Seared shaved beef, loaded with sautéed green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and yellow cheddar cheese sauce, served with seasoned curly fries
We expected this sandwich to be similar to the Garlic Cheese “Stake” during Halloween Horror Nights, but it’s completely different. It’s your standard Philly, with shaved beef, onions, and peppers, and comes topped with a yellow cheddar cheese sauce.
This sandwich is much larger than the sandwich from HHN, too. This is another pretty basic sandwich that is sure to please hungry guests during the holidays.
*NEW* Vegan Philly – $14.99
Roasted balsamic marinated portobello mushrooms, sautéed onions, vegan pepper jack cheese, vegan secret sauce, served with seasoned curly fries
The vegan Philly was the winner of the three sandwiches. This was also the most unique of the trio, containing Portobello mushrooms, onions, a vegan secret sauce, and vegan pepper jack cheese.
The balsamic marinated Portobello mushrooms are rich and hearty, with a slight sweetness.
The secret sauce has a bit of a kick to it, too, which made this sandwich the most flavorful of the three. We highly recommend this one!
Overall, this is a fantastic food location serving up something a little more substantial than a corndog. We’ve seen long food lines around the park during peak seasons, so it appears that Universal is doing everything to provide more options around the park. There’s something for everything at this truck. This is a great location if you want to be able to order a sandwich and then grab a spot on the curb for the parade.
