Located in the picturesque France pavilion is Le Marché de Noël Holiday Kitchen, a marketplace available during the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. The booth this year returns with almost an entirely new menu, but favorites from previous years like the salmon dish, the chocolate martini, and the cranberry mimosa seem to have returned.

Napoleon de Saumon Fumé en Brioche: Smoked salmon napoleon with layers of smoked salmon, dill mousse, and crème fraîche mousse served in brioche – $8.95
Honestly, this could’ve been better. First off, it doesn’t stay together as the layers simply slide off of one another as you pick up the sandwich.
Flavor-wise, it’s fine, but you can do much better at this price around the Festival of the Holidays. The bread is hard on the exterior and soft inside, but still doesn’t make this memorable enough to be recommended.
*NEW* Rôti de Jambon Sauce Moutarde à l’ancienne, Pommes Dauphine: Roasted Ham with Mushrooms, Pearl Onions, Bacon, Mustard Sauce and Puff Potatoes – $7.75
There’s a mushroom favor in this. We loved the mushrooms, onion, and sauce. Actually, the ham is the weakest part of the dish.
The puff potato is very starchy. Inside, it’s very grainy, kind of like when you’re eating a sour cream donut. These puffs aren’t necessary for this already hearty dish.
The sauce is the best part about the whole thing. Without the sauce, the dish would fall flat.
*NEW* Macaron en Sucette, Ganache à la Menthe Poivrée et aux Chocolats Valrhona: Macaron Lollipop with Peppermint and Valrhona Chocolate Ganache – $9.25
This macaron is so fresh and delicious. It has a crisp exterior and a chewy soft interior. The macaron itself is plain in taste, but the chocolate ganache and peppermint really bring this to the next level.
The ganache is front and center, with just the right amount. It’s rich and delicious without overshadowing the rest of the treat. You can also taste a nice amount of peppermint, but it’s not overwhelming.
We love how this dessert is easy to eat, as it is on a popsicle stick. They hit this out of the park, and we’ll be back for another.
Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini: Vanilla vodka, vodka, chocolate milk, and whipped cream – $13.95
This martini looks stunning and is perfect for a festive and elegant Instagram post.
However, the martini is just fine at best. It just tastes like frozen chocolate milk served in a fancy glass.
We couldn’t taste any of the vodka in this drink. Even down in the bottom of the glass, it lacked any trace of alcohol.
*NEW* Spiced Pumpkin Punch: Rhum Clement VSOP Vieux Agricole, Spiced Pumpkin Purée and Oat Milk – $13.50
It has a slushy texture, and holds up well in the heat. The liquor is very strong, but it has a good finish that cuts through the puree and milk. You definitely get the pumpkin taste. It’s quite sweet, with a creamy finish.
The slush helps the drink, as this may be a very thick drink otherwise. Ultimately, it’s like a watered-down pumpkin spice ice cream due to the oat milk and water. If you love all things pumpkin spice, you might just like this.
Cranberry Mimosa: Sparkling wine with orange juice and cranberry syrup – $9.95
We do enjoy cranberry mixed drinks at this time of year, and this mimosa won’t disappoint. It’s light and refreshing while capturing the flavors of the season well.
