In search of a more traditional holiday treat during your visit to the Magic Kingdom? Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe is now serving a Texas-sized sweet potato pie for a limited time.

Apparently, the full saying is, “everything is bigger in Texas — except the sweet potato pie.” Or maybe those portion size cuts are really ramping up at Walt Disney World. Either way, this wasn’t what we expected from a “Texas-sized” dessert.

Size aside, the dessert is served cold, and the pecans give it a little crunch with each bite.
The marshmallow meringue is toasted on top. This dessert is very sweet and very delicious.

The sweet potato was sweet and had some spice in it, possibly nutmeg. If you like sweet desserts, this would be for you.

The Texas-sized sweet potato pie is available during regular park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party from November 8 through December 31.
