Welcome back to the west coast!

There is a LOT of news coming out of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure right now. The updated ToonTown got an opening date, Magic Key Passes sold out (again), and you can now meet Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian in Galaxy’s Edge. All the big news doesn’t stop Disney from releasing more snacks, though, so come with us to try a meal over in Disney California Adventure!

The Monte Cristo Corn Dog meal is two corn dogs with cheese covered in strawberry Thai chili jam, wine port jelly caviar, and berry compote served with a side of garlic waffle fries. You can find it for $20 at Magic Key Terrace.

Unfortunately, the corn dogs were a little soggy, and most of the inside of the corn dogs is cheese — only about 1/3 of it is the hot dog. The strawberry Thai chili jam wasn’t spicy like we expected it to be, and the raspberries in the berry compote are a little too tart. The wine port jelly caviar is nearly unnoticeable unless you get a large bite of them, in which case they are similar to boba pearls and add a hint of sourness.

The fries on the other hand came out piping hot, crispy, and absolutely covered in garlic! If you’re a garlic fan, you’ll love these, but they may be overwhelming for others.

However, this is a great portion of food for $20, and if you’re a fan of cheese, corn dogs, interesting flavor combinations, and garlic, this could be a great meal for you. If you’re more of a picky eater, we suggest choosing something a little more mundane from the menu at Magic Key Terrace.
