Ride Wait Times Prove that Disney World Is Getting BUSIER

It’s almost time for Thanksgiving, which means — you guessed it — LOTS of people are coming to Disney World.

It’s time for the holidays in Disney World!

Last week we discovered that wait times increased by a LOT, and now we’re back again to see whether wait times are staying steady or increasing by even more. We have all the average wait times in Disney World from this past week, so find out whether they’re going up — or down.

Sorry, not sorry — we’re here to remind you once again to think about your favorite Disney World rides before you scroll down to check out the average wait times from this past week! The reason we recommend this is because this is one of the best ways to determine whether Genie+ might be a worthy investment for you. At $15 to $22 per person, per day (or more in the future), Genie+ can hit your budget hard, and unless you have unlimited finances, it might not be the right purchase for you or your group.

Using Disney Genie+!

So what exactly is Genie+? It’s the new paid version of FastPass+, except instead of choosing FastPass lanes you now reserve Lightning Lanes one at a time. But just like with FastPass, Genie+ lets you spend less time in line and more time doing other things, which can be helpful especially if you’re a big ride person.

All right, we’re done with the lecture! Scroll down to see all the average wait times of every Disney World ride this past week.

Magic Kingdom

We’re starting with Magic Kingdom, where Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time at 58 minutes! It actually averaged 63 minutes last week, so that’s actually a slight decrease.

Overall, this week was kind of a mixed bag, with some wait times continuing to trend up, while others decreased slightly. Considering Thanksgiving is coming up soon, we can probably expect to see higher wait times soon, with many people visiting for the holiday. If you’re visiting for Thanksgiving, make sure you pack your patience pants and think about getting Genie+.
