Christmas time in Disney Springs
The holidays are in full swing in Walt Disney World and that means tons of new snacks and treats, merchandise, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Thankfully, we are huge holiday fans here and there’s nothing we love more than a good holiday treat or two! We think Disney Springs knows this about us because they have a new snack for us.
Over at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, the bakery is getting into the holiday cheer with a new cake.

Today we tried one of the new treats which is the Santa Claus Petit Cake for $22. This cake is made up of chocolate chip cookie cake, vanilla mousse, and chocolate chiffon cake.

First of all, just look at that DESIGN! We love the detail and stunning look of this cake.
SO CUTE!
Overall, we really enjoyed this cake! The cookie on the bottom was soft but strong enough to hold the cake. The cake itself was moist with a delicious chocolate taste, but there was enough of a vanilla taste to prevent the chocolate from being too rich. The buttercream icing is smooth with a lovely vanilla flavor, and there’s a layer of chocolate in the middle that had a nice crunch, but then melted immediately, adding to the wonderful chocolate taste.
The inside
This treat is almost perfect — we really had no complaints about this cake other than the fact that it’ll get black and red dye all over your hands. Also, it is a bit pricey for at $22, but it is a very shareable snack so it’s up to you and your group if it’s worth it. If you’re a lover of chocolate, we think you’ll love this cake, but if you’re not a huge fan, we suggest grabbing one of the other delicious desserts in Disney Springs.
