If you’re heading to Disney World during these next few days, pack your patience pants. In fact, pack all the patience pants you own — you’re gonna need ’em!

The crowds at Disney World have been weird during the holiday season, with some spots incredibly crowded while others were a little emptier. In terms of wait times, you can find some seriously LONG waits as folks pile into the parks to enjoy the last bit of 2022. Even rides you’d NEVER expect to be super busy might surprise you. But today, well…some of those wait times were really making us cringe.

When we checked the My Disney Experience app at around 1:55PM, we noticed that several rides had wait times BEYOND 100 minutes!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Toy Story Mania! were right at 100 minutes, while rides like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Frozen Ever After, Kilimanjaro Safaris…

…Na’vi River Journey, Slinky Dog Dash, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure…

…Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Avatar Flight of Passage had waits well over 100 minutes. Flight of Passage had the longest wait at the time at 220 minutes (that’s OVER 3 hours).

That’s around 10 rides ALL with waits of over 100 minutes!

Minutes later, the list updated and 11 rides had wait times in excess of 100 minutes. In other words, get ready to WAIT if you’re going to Disney World soon!

But, keep in mind these are the wait times for some of the most popular rides. Other attractions had much shorter waits when we checked. At around 2PM, the wait for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was 15 minutes, the wait for Living with the Land was 25 minutes, and the wait for Jingle Cruise was 35 minutes.

Want to avoid the long lines? There are a few things you can do:

  1. Consider using Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes to skip the lines — just keep in mind that they’ll cost you a pretty penny during in-demand times
  2. Wake up early to rope drop the parks or use Early Theme Park Entry (a perk for Disney World hotel guests) to get into the parks when fewer guests are there
  3. Stay late or use Extended Evening Hours (a perk for those staying at Deluxe Disney World Hotels or Deluxe villas) to spend time in the parks late at night when many folks have already left for the day
