2023 is shaping up to be a momentous year for the Disney company.
The 50th celebrations at Walt Disney World will be wrapping up, and just as those come to a close the entire company will be celebrating its 100th anniversary! 2023 might be an important year for many guests as well. For example, you might be taking your first trip on the Galactic Starcruiser, Disney’s immersive Star Wars experience. Also known as the Star Wars hotel, the Starcruiser combines Disney’s resort amenities, dining, entertainment, and activities in a 3-day experience. When it first opened in March of 2022, some scrambled to get a spot while others were more hesitant due to the price tag. Now that the experience has had time to settle in, you might be ready to book! Let’s take a look at which dates have already sold out for this experience in 2023.
Before scheduling your trip, booking airfare, or doing anything else concrete, first you need to ensure the dates you would like to visit are open. You can book as far out as September of 2023 at the moment! Some dates are already unavailable, so we’re making sure you know what is still available so you won’t miss out.
Because a stay (or “voyage”) is a 2-night experience, not every day on the calendar is available as a “start” day. Every 2 days a new boarding group comes in when the old one leaves, so on the calendar the beginning dates of each voyage are marked with an orange line.
For the first three months of the year, the only dates that are completely unavailable are February 18th-19th. If you are planning on booking a trip in the very near future, you are still in luck! So far none of the dates in January are sold out.
There’s a similar situation from April to June. Only two days in the middle of May are unavailable, the 17th-18th, but there is plenty of availability throughout the rest of the spring season. This is one of our favorite times to visit Disney because of the mild weather!
Heading towards September, right now we’re seeing no fully booked dates as we approach the end of the year. This is great if you’re needing some extra time to plan and budget! We will be sure to keep updating this page, so keep checking in as you plan for your trip.
Of course, availability is subject to change. On their site, Disney notes that this availability is for informational purposes and is subject to change when you call to make your reservation. When you are ready to book, you can go ahead and call 407-939-1800 to reserve your stay!
