When it comes to planning your Disney World trip, it’s important to keep up with all the latest changes!
From construction updates to new menu items or ride refurbishments, the parks and resorts are changing all the time. If you’re heading to Disney World in early 2023, there might be a few attractions unavailable — and we just found out about another one.
Disney World attractions often temporarily close for routine maintenance to make sure they’re running in tip-top shape. We recently learned that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom would close in early January for refurbishments, and it looks like an Animal Kingdom ride will close soon as well.
Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids is a raft-based water attraction where it’s pretty likely you’re going to get wet. But, if you were hoping to experience this attraction in January — you might be out of luck.
Kali River Rapids will close for refurbishment on January 9th, 2023. No times are listed as available on the Disney World website.
This is a pretty timely closure, as even Central Florida can get chilly in January! We’re not sure how long this refurbishment will last, but we’ll let you know of any more updates.
