Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park has had its temporary closure extended due to ongoing low temperatures in Central Florida. It will now be closed through Tuesday, December 27.
The Walt Disney World water parks usually close any time the temperature is not expected to break 70°F. The original closure was scheduled to go through Sunday, December 25, since temperatures were estimated to only reach a high of 47°F. Temperatures are predicted to begin rising on Monday, but only reaching a high of 57°F followed by 62° on Tuesday.
At this time, Blizzard Beach is scheduled to reopen to guests on Wednesday, December 28, when the temperature is projected to reach a high of 71°F.
