The official name of the fan-favorite overlay at the Land Pavilion is ‘Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses.’ The new name is perfect because the greenhouse glimmers all night after the sun sets. During the day, guests don’t witness that effect, but they can enjoy all the holiday decor placed throughout the attraction.

On a recent trip to EPCOT, I got pictures of the decor during the day, and then at night, I was able to grab some really fun videos of the ride. Of course, I want to share all that content with you!

Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses – Daytime

I love everything about this overlay, but my favorite part is the Mickey Mouse Reindeer topiary. It’s also important to note that the ride recording has minor changes to fit the overlay. The most significant change I noticed was in the fish farming section. Here they explained a holiday gathering that includes a 7-course meal where fish is the star of the show. Other than that, the rest of the modifications to the script are small.

This ride is a favorite of mine year-round, but I do have to say that at night with this overlay, it is an extra magical experience. Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses is on my holiday must-do list when visiting EPCOT during this time of year. Is it on yours?
