I have raved about Chef Art Smith’s Homcomin‘ at Disney Springs in many articles because it is my favorite dining location there. That southern-style comfort food is my go-to type of meal when I’m feeling down or if it’s a rainy day. This is also where I bring friends when they visit the Central Florida area. If you love this restaurant as I do, then I’ve got good news for you.
Orlando International Airport just got its very own version of this Disney Springs must-do. The eatery is called ‘Sunshine Diner by Chef Art Smith,’ and it can be found in Terminal C. We recently saw that Wine Bar George also opened a new spot in the same area. Is Terminal C at MCO turning into a new Disney Springs?
Brighten up your day at the Sunshine Diner by Chef Art Smith. This eatery celebrates the comfort of the classic diner, adding local & modern twists. Sit and enjoy or grab & go – visit this unique option at MCO!

The MCO Twitter account says that the new eatery celebrates the comfort of the classic diner while adding a local and modern twist. Guests can choose to sit and enjoy the diner, or if you are in a rush, they offer to grab & go selections.
Travelers can find this southern diner in Terminal C between Gates C230-C238. The new dining location is open from 5 a.m. until the last departing flight. This is another fun way to get that last bit of Disney before leaving. It’s also a great way to kick off your Orlando vacation.
Here are the photos they have shared of the new spot.
I wonder what the cheapest flight I can buy is just so I can go eat here and experience the deliciousness. I love the aesthetic of this diner because it looks like a traditional one but at the same time has modern elements. If you were to fly into or out of MCO, would you stop here for a quick bite?
