Disney World has come a long way since the parks first reopened after the pandemic-related closures.

Experiences began returning in phases, character interactions were modified, and buffets switched to family-style or prix fixe meals instead. We’ve seen a lot of that change recently, with many restaurants returning to buffet service. And now, another Disney World restaurant is switching back to a buffet!

Chef Mickey’s will switch BACK to buffet service once again beginning on March 1st, 2023!

An update was posted on the Chef Mickey’s page on the Disney World website. Since reopening, this fan-favorite spot has been serving up meals family-style, but that’s all changing next year.

Disney shared, “Now through February 28, this restaurant offers family-style dining. The buffet experience will return on March 1. Check back soon to view the buffet menu.” You can be sure we’ll keep an eye out for that menu.
