More demolition is underway at the former ESPN Club building at Disney’s BoardWalk as it is transformed into The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers.
The ESPN Club branding was the first thing to go, and the building has since been gutted. Work is now commencing on the octagonal tower.
The concept art for the Cake Bake Shop shows windows here, and we can see the paneling is being stripped.
Some of the panels are intact, but others have been torn down to the weatherproof sheathing.
The sign holder is being demolished, and the wall beneath it has been removed since our last update.
The framework of the sign holder seems to have been cut away.
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is set to open in 2023 at Disney’s BoardWalk.
