Carousel Coffee had its grand opening today at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. This quick service location offers a variety of handcrafted hot and iced coffees from Joffrey’s Coffee, as well as a selection of teas and fresh pastries. We headed over there this morning to see the new dining location and try out some of their signature coffee drinks and pastries.
Carousel Coffee Menu
Carousel Coffee serves Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company brand products along with a selection of baked goods. Beverages include standard caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee, espresso, macchiatos, nitro cold brews, hot cocoa, Pomegranate-Green Tea Lemonade, and more.

Crunchy Raspberry Danish – $4.29
The crunchy raspberry danish is far better than we expected. The inside is not hard at all, it’s super flaky and buttery. It’s very light and airy inside. We don’t get much raspberry, it seems like there is so much glaze all over the danish sticks on the plate.
The small crisps on top are like sugar rocks. Inside, the raspberry crisps are a bit tangy and we get a little bit of the raspberry from here. It’s like a sour rice Krispy treat. Overall the crunchy raspberry danish exceeded our expectations from what we thought it would be. It’s a decent pastry but don’t expect a ton of raspberry flavor.
Vintage Mickey and Minnie Sugar Cookie – $4.29
You can select either a vintage Mickey or Minnie cookie, both of which are coated with a thick layer of fondant or icing. Unfortunately, the icing easily falls off the cookie when bitten into and does not add much in terms of taste. These cookies come individually wrapped and may not be suitable for those who prefer a sweeter treat.
The cookie is much softer and on its own, it’s a lot less sweet. We preferred the cookie plain. Although it’s a cute cookie there are other tastier options along the boardwalk you can grab.
Cinnamon Bun Frozen Blended Coffee – $5.99
Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew blended with Cinnamon Bun Syrup, Milk, and Mocha topped with Whipped Cream
The Cinnamon Bun Frozen Blended Coffee is extremely sugary and sweet. The cinnamon bun syrup is noticeable in the flavor, but if you are a coffee lover, you may find this drink too sweet for your taste.
We get more of the Cinnabon flavors over actual coffee. It’s super creamy but it’s more of a sugary cinnamon drink. We wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for more of a coffee-flavored drink or regular coffee, but it’s good if you enjoy something sweet.
Carousel Coffee, located at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, is a decent and convenient spot for a drink. It has a decor that is similar to Disney’s Riviera Resort. It is opened daily from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
