The Shanghai Disneyland Resort has had a rough time staying open due to China’s “dynamic zero-COVID” strategy. The park, which reopened on November 25, closed four days later. Now, the park is being reopened on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
At this time, the park will only be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and some areas may be operating at a reduced capacity or close to guests completely. It is best to refer to the Shanghai Disneyland app for the latest operational information.
The resort’s pandemic control measures will be updated in accordance with the latest local government guidelines and guests should check and strictly follow them.
For guests whose travel plans were impacted during the closure period, it is recommended that they contact the original purchase channel with your inquiries or request a refund or exchange.
