This Disney World Stitch Treat Wins “Most Improved”

Who’s ready to try another holiday treat in Disney World?

There are tons of new treats around Disney World for both the winter season and holidays right around the corner. We headed over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to try one of their holiday treats, and it stars our favorite blue alien — Stitch!

The Stitch Holiday Dome Cake can be found for $7.99 at Kona Island Coffee Bar. Just look at how cute it is!

This guy was looking MUCH better than the last time we saw a Stitch Dome Cake earlier this year (although that one had different flavors). But how does this cake, made with a chocolate brownie base and mint and chocolate chip-filled mousse with white chocolate ears and fondant eyes, taste?

So cute!

The filling was super light and refreshing, and the frosting was delicious as well! The dome frosting was almost a little gooey, but in a good way, because it provided a great texture. However, our reporter wasn’t a huge fan of the chocolate chips inside the mousse and thought the mint flavor was easily overpowered by the chocolate taste.

If you’re looking for a fun, cute Christmas treat, this one is very Instagram-able. However, if you’re looking for some more prominent flavors or a treat that won’t make a big mess and get blue all over you, you may want to pick one of the other holiday treats around the property.
