Crews have planted trees behind the EPCOT construction walls directly in front of Creations Shop and Connections Café in World Celebration.
Right now, in the winter, the trees are relatively bare.
Plants are usually one of the last things installed during a construction project, so the trees are a good sign that walls may move soon.
They won’t be taken down entirely yet — there’s still a massive construction zone in the center of EPCOT.
The area will eventually house gardens, Dreamer’s Point, CommuniCore Hall, and Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana.”
These trees will be part of the gardens.
For reference, above is a photo taken earlier this month. The trees have been planted along the right side of the construction site, where concrete barriers are visible in the photo. CommuniCore Hall is under construction on the left side of the photo.
