Drawing on Inspiration: Celebrating EPCOT Honors the Park’s 40th Anniversary for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

Last year’s Drawing on Inspiration: Celebrating 50 Years of Magic paid tribute to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, but this year, the exhibit celebrates 40 years of EPCOT.

The sign reads, “EPCOT was created as a tribute to human connection and achievement, a celebration of the magic of possibility.

In honor of EPCOT’s 40th anniversary, this exhibition showcases art based on the stirring stories and optimistic spirit found throughout the park.

Just as EPCOT inspired the artists, may these works fill you with the joy of imagination and a hopeful excitement for the future.”

The exhibit features artwork by celebrated Disney artists, who honor their favorite attractions and characters. When the series launched in 2021, it showcased art inspired by EPCOT pavilions past and present.

You can find Drawing on Inspiration on a construction wall between the Imagination Pavilion and World Showcase.
