Spring is just around the corner, meaning EPCOT will transform into its most beautiful self in about a month. The park will be covered in flowers from head to toe, and the next festival will kick off in full bloom. EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run from Match 1st through July 5th.
Disney announced that this year guests will see for the first time ever topiaries of Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa from Disney’s “Encanto.” You’ll be able to find these masterpieces near the EPCOT main entrance.
That’s not all. Disney is adding another new topiary into the mix this year. Guests will be able to admire a new Princess Tiana display that will grace The American Adventure. I am so excited to see these new additions to the festival, and I can’t wait to take pictures in front of them. Of course, all of our favorites will be returning, too, like Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs; Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, and Tick Tock Croc; Figment; Anna and Elsa; and more.
For those of you that love the concert series at the festivals, you are in luck. The popular Garden Rocks Concert Series is back, featuring favorite tunes at the America Gardens Theatre. More details about the musical lineup will be released soon, so keep an eye out.
At the 2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, more than 15 Outdoor Kitchens will offer specialty menus of delicious cuisine and beverages. A fan-favorite booth, The Citrus Blossom, will be moving into the Odyssey and will have fresh new menu items. It’s not Flower & Garden without some’ 70s-inspired Orange Bird merchandise.
Other than topiaries, food and merchandise guests can also take part in Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration.
This springtime scavenger hunt is fun for all ages. Follow Spike the Bee on his pollination trail, where he will “bee” busy collecting nectar and pollinating gardens at EPCOT. Once you find him in each garden on your map, add the corresponding sticker of the plant he is visiting.
As guests travel into World Showcase, they will be able to experience the sights and scents of spring with Blossoms of Fragrance presented by Scentsy. Here you can explore different aromas and scents while surrounded by butterfly topiaries.
This all sounds exciting and fun. I am thrilled that new topiaries are being added this year, and I hope they keep coming back to the festival each year. Another thing I am beyond excited about is the Outdoor Kitchens. I need Disney to release those menus right away. Will you be visiting EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival? If you are, what are you most excited to experience?
