With celebrations for the Lunar New Year set to begin this week at Disney California Adventure, food booths and their full menus are already staged inside the Disneyland Resort Park.
The celebration runs from January 20 through February 15, 2023, in the Paradise Gardens area of Disney California Adventure. In addition to special merchandise, characters, and activities, there are six special food marketplaces offering Asian-inspired cuisine. Two of this year’s Lunar New Year Food Marketplaces are making their debut at this year’s multicultural celebration.
Lucky 8 Lantern
The Lucky 8 Lantern food marketplace will return in 2023 to celebrate the Lunar new Year at Disney California Adventure, but guests can expect an entirely new line up to ring in the ‘Year of the Rabbit’.
This year, the Lucky 8 Lantern will be featuring:
- Quesabirria Eggroll with Guajillo pepper consommé filled with Oaxaca cheese, beef birria, and a side of guajillo pepper consommé (New) – $9
- Coconut-Lavender Matcha Foam Iced Coffee: Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. French Bistro Blend, coconut milk, coconut cream, and white chocolate sauce garnished with lavender matcha, coconut foam, sea salt, and purple sanding sugar (Non-alcoholic) (New) – $6.50
- Mandarin Mousse Cake: Layers of mandarin mousse with vanilla cake and clementine compote finished with white chocolate crunch balls and a tangerine glaze (New) – $6.25
- Lotus Flower Glow Cube – $6.25
Bamboo Blessings
Bamboo Blessings is the first of two new food marketplaces being offered as part of the 2023 Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure. Hot Dog Stuffed Buns, Sweet Potato Macarons, and a whole lot of beer round out the menu for this new food booth.
This year, Bamboo Blessings will be featuring:
- Mickey Mouse-shaped Hot Dog Bun: Brioche-style Mickey Mouse-shaped buns stuffed with hot dog and finished with sesame seeds and scallions – $7.50
- Mickey Mouse-shaped Purple Sweet Potato Macaron: Red macaron filled with purple sweet potato buttercream and a crème fraîche center – $7
- Young Master Brewery Pale Ale with mandarin and bergamot zest – $13.25
- Four Sons Lunar New Year Citrus IPA with orange and lemon – $10.50
- Master Gao Brewery Baby Jasmine Tea Lager – $13.25
- Three Weavers Brewery Moon Rabbit: Golden stout with vanilla and Vietnamese cinnamon (New) – $13
- Stereo Brewing Co. Gingerine: Ginger wheat ale with tangerine, honey, and lemon juice (New) – $13
- Brewery X Green Tea Rice Lager (New) – $13
- Anderson Valley Brewing Co. Black Rice Ale (New) – $13
- Tsingtao Brewery Premium Lager (New) – $10.50
- Tsingtao topped with a frozen mango beer foam (New) – $12.75

Wrapped With Love
Wrapped With Love is the second of two new food marketplaces to debut at the 2023 Lunar New Year lineup at Disney California Adventure. Wontons and Dumplings are paired with two cocktail options as the featured items of this new food booth.
This year, Wrapped With Love will be featuring:
- Pork and Shrimp Wontons with a black garlic sauce (New) – $8.75
- Bok Choy & Mushroom Dumpling with a black garlic sauce (New) (Plant-based item) – $8.75
- Pineapple Baijiu Cocktail: Dark Rum, baijiu, Allspice Dram, pineapple and orange juices, and falernum syrup garnished with a dried red pineapple chip (New) – $16
- Grapefruit-Melon Wine Cocktail: Sauvignon blanc, grapefruit liqueur, watermelon purée, rock melon syrup, and lime juice garnished with skewered grapes (New) – $15
- Lotus Flower Glow Cube – $6.25
Red Dragon Spice Traders
Red Dragon Spice Traders returns to celebrate the Lunar New Year this year, but you won’t recognize this all-new food-lineup that appears to be full of fusion and spice.
This year, Red Dragon Spice Traders will be featuring:
- Red Spice Fried Chicken Bites: Fried chicken chicharrones in spicy red chile sauce (New) – $8.75
- Gochujang Elote: Steamed corn on the cob rolled in gochujang aїoli and cotija cheese drizzled with spicy gochujang sauce (New) – $7.50
- Guava Whiskey Cocktail: Whiskey, ginger liqueur, guava nectar, coconut cream, and lime juice garnished with a lime wheel (New) – $15
- Dancing Firecracker (non-alcoholic): Pineapple and lime juices, guava nectar, spicy honey, and house-made hibiscus syrup garnished with a lime wheel (New) – $6.50
- Lotus Flower Glow Cube – $6.25
Prosperity Bao & Buns
Aside from a number of items now moving to Bamboo Blessings or returning to Longevity Noodle Co., Prosperity Bao & Buns is the only other food marketplace sticking with menu items that have been seen throughout past Lunar New Year celebrations. With Yuja-Ade and Pork Bao returning, it’s easy to see why!
This year, Prosperity Bao & Buns will be featuring:
- Pepperoni Pizza Bao Bun served with marinara (New) – $9
- Char Siu BBQ Pork Bao with pickled red onion and jalapeño – $9
- Lychee Celebration: Gin, prosecco, lychee syrup, yuja-lemongrass purée, and grapefruit juice garnished with an edible purple orchid – $15
- Peach Yuja-Ade: Yuja-lemongrass purée, dragon fruit and peach syrups, lemon juice, and butterfly pea flower tea garnished with a lemon wheel (Non-alcoholic) – $6.50
- Soju Peach Yuja Ade: Soju, yuja-lemongrass purée, dragon fruit and peach syrups, lemon juice, and butterfly pea flower tea garnished with a lemon wheel – $16
- Lotus Flower Glow Cube – $6.25
Longevity Noodle Co.
Seeing Longevity Noodle Co. set up for their return to Disney California Adventure’s Lunar New Year celebration has our mouths watering already. From parades, nighttime water shows, food options, and merchandise, the Lunar New Year will be celebrated in many exciting ways across Disney California Adventure.
