Mardi Gras might be right around the corner, but some of us are still thinking about Halloween Horror Nights 24/7. If you’re one of those spooky people, we invite you to get a small taste of HHN 31 with the return of the Sambusa Coffins! These were a very popular item from 2022 and could be found at the booth in Gramercy Park, along with the Pizza Skulls. In case you missed it, Pizza Skulls can now be found at Islands of Adventure, and now you can find the Sambusa Coffins at Universal Studios Florida.
Vegan Hand Pie – $6.99
They aren’t advertised as coffins, and the average guest might not even notice, but we don’t mind eating coffins year-round. This was kind of a missed opportunity to call them sarcophagi and sell them at Revenge of the Mummy, but we’re happy to see them available in San Francisco. You can find them at the San Francisco Beer Cart at the exit of Fast and Furious: Supercharged, right across from Lombard’s Seafood Grille.
These vegan hand pies are filled with lentils, potatoes, tomatoes, onion, carrots, red pepper, collard greens, garlic, cilantro, garam masala, and ginger. You can read our full review of them by clicking here, but spoiler alert: they’re delicious!
These vegan hand pies are amazing and worth a stop at the San Francisco Beer Cart at Universal Studios Florida. Did you try these at Halloween Horror Nights? Are there any other seasonal foods you wish would make a return at the Universal Orlando Resort? Let us know in the comments!
