“Magic Kingdom is perfect the way it is. Disney better not touch it” I have heard this statement many times in the past few years, and I get it. This park seems to be one of those that is just perfect and should never be altered. But I can’t fully agree with that because there are some things I would love to change and make better.
If I could change anything at Magic Kingdom, it would be Tomorrowland. With the addition of TRON Lightcycle Power Run, I think it’s time the entire area gets a facelift. This new attraction looks way more “futuristic” than the rest of the land. The other sections look dated, especially Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. I saw there is a rumor that Disney will give Space Mountain a fresh coat of paint to make the ride look better while sitting next to the newest ride at the park. That energy should be put into all the other attractions there.

Other areas within Tomorrowland that need love are the speedway, the space that held Stitch’s Great Escape, and the interior of Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. The speedway track is right in front of Tron, and I believe it needs to be updated to match the aesthetic of that area. They could change the car colors to white, blue & gray and alter the attraction’s entrance.
I may not like the food served at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, but I do love Sonny Eclipse. I could sit there eating fries and listen to his show all day. I would love to see the inside of the restaurant updated to look less outdated as long as they don’t touch Sonny. As for Stitch’s Great Escape, it just needs to go away, and they need to add a different attraction into that space. It would be great to see this area turned into a Big Hero 6 ride or make it a Baymax meet-and-greet location.
Now that I have shared what I would change in the Magic Kingdom, I want to know what you would change or if you would leave the park as is. Let us know in the comments!
