It’s the weekend, and I am missing the parks. I’m putting together my next trip now, and I am deep in research mode. Not so much for the theme parks themselves, as I pretty much have that down, but in dates and flights and all the boring stuff that goes along with it. I keep finding myself distracted by a single thought. What would it be if I could only go on one ride right now? It’s tricky because the answer isn’t going to be any of my favorites. You see, any of the mountains (Splash, Space, Thunder, etc.) would get me too ramped up. I couldn’t just have one ride and then leave. This leads me to think it would need to be something more mellow with an enjoyable factor rather than thrilling, which knocks out Incredicoaster and Expedition Everest.
Peter Pan is another one I love, but the music leaves me all excited to keep going through the rest of Fantasyland. It’s got to be something with a bit more of a stand-alone element to it. I know; I’ve got it! The one ride I would jump on right now would be Soarin’. But not just any version, the original Soarin’ Over California with the orange trees. Weirdly enough, this experience will return to Disneyland’s California Adventure park for a limited time during the Food & Wine Festival, March 3 – April 25, 2023. If only I could be there specifically for that! The first version of this attraction was by far the best.
Now it’s your turn; what would it be if you could only go on one Disney attraction right now?
