Duffy’s musical turtle friend ‘Olu Mel is now featured on a Spirit Jersey and beach towel available at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
‘Olu Mel Spirit Jersey – $85
The Spirit Jersey is a burnt orange color.
‘Olu Mel is on the left breast, playing his ukulele and wearing a hat. Music notes and a white flower are around him.
His name and “A Disney friend of Duffy” is across the back in blue letters.
A pink heart is in the “O” of ‘Olu Mel.
The lettering is slightly puffy, and “‘Olu Mel” looks like it’s been stitched on.
On the lower back of the jersey are postcard pictures of ‘Olu Mel surfing, Aulani, and a rainbow with the word “Aloha.” Around the pictures are tropical flowers, ‘Olu’s ukulele, a smiling sun, and shaved ice.
‘Olu Mel Beach Towel – $30
The beach towel features ‘Olu Mel on an inner tube floating in the water near Aulani.
He’s playing his ukulele. His name and logo are at the bottom of the towel.
Aulani is under a rainbow and the smiling sun. The border of the towel resembles a woven pattern, and there are flowers at the corners.
These are available in BouTiki, where we’ve previously found ‘Olu Mel merchandise.
‘Olu Mel was first introduced as ‘Olu at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa in 2018. He was renamed ‘Olu Mel in 2020 and made his costumed character debut at Shanghai Disneyland later that year.
