In addition to the new Figment Magic Shots and other PhotoPass opportunities, the step-in photo ops inspired by classic works of art have returned to the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
Bridge to World Showcase – “Luncheon of the Boating Party” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir Step-in Photo Op
On your way to World Showcase, you can stop at a few different photo-ops.
Most of the photo ops look like the painting is framed on a museum wall, complete with a lamp above the frame.
For this photo op, guests can step between two layers of “Luncheon of the Boating Party” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
Bridge to World Showcase- “Café Terrace at Night” and “Sunflowers” by Vincent van Gogh
Nearby, two Vincent Van Gogh paintings share one step-in photo op.
You can either dine at the “Café Terrace at Night” or stand with the iconic “Sunflowers.”
Mexico – An Homage to Frida Kahlo
In the Mexico Pavilion, past the Donald Duck meet-and-greet.
It features multiple small works by Frida Kahlo. Guests can put their faces into one of her self-portraits.
Italy – “The Scream” by Edvard Munch and “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci
“The Scream” and “Mona Lisa” are near the Italy Pavilion bridge.
Their famous figures are missing, so you can fill in their place.
Italy – “The Birth of Venus” by Sandro Botticelli
Further into the Italy Pavilion is “The Birth of Venus.”
Venus is missing, so you can pose like her.
There’s even a reference image of the original painting inside.
The American Adventure – “Washington Crossing the Delaware” by Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze
You can also join George Washington crossing the Delaware.
All of his fellow soldiers have been removed from his boat, so it’s a perfect photo op for a big group.
If you want to pose just like the original figures, there’s also a reference image of the original painting inside.
U.K. Pavilion – “Peter Pan Storybook”
Finally, the “Peter Pan” storybook photo op is in the U.K. Pavilion this year. You can either step into the Mermaid Lagoon or head to Skull Rock on a boat.
This photo op is on the side of the pavilion closest to the Canada Pavilion.
Which photo ops are you hoping to take pictures in this year? Let us know in the comments.

It’s the newest of the four, with Flower & Garden Festival having debuted in 1994, Food & Wine in 1995, and Festival of the Holidays in 1996. The festivals have different focuses but all usually feature specialty food and beverage, entertainment, merchandise, and activities.
