Menu shakeups are happening all over the Disneyland Resort right now, as is traditional with the changing of the seasons. So we visited Pacific Wharf Cafe at Disney California Adventure, which has a new chipotle chicken sandwich for the winter season!

Chipotle Chicken Sandwich – $12.69

Chipotle Marinated Chicken, Havarti, Avocado Spread and crispy Bacon served on a Sun-dried Tomato-Asiago Focaccia

This is one of our favorite sandwiches ever! It’s so fresh and bright and alive.

It comes served with some sea salt potato chips.

The sandwich’s fresh arugula and fresh tomatoes are such a welcome treat in a sea of sweets and fried food. The beautiful tomato focaccia is delicately flavored, but still present and compliments the chipotle chicken well.

The chicken itself is spiced but not spicy, nothing to be afraid of for even the tamest of diners.

This is something we could see getting on every trip since it’s fresh and light. It doesn’t weigh you down as you run through the park, while still being party enough to satisfy a strong hunger.

We can’t say enough nice things about this sandwich, which is only available for a limited time!

Pacific Wharf itself is becoming San Fransokyo, so it’s possible Pacific Wharf Cafe will get a new name in the future. But hopefully, it will still have some delicious menu items. Let us know if you’ll be giving this a try in the comments below!
