Walt Disney World has new treats inspired by the Disney Munchlings plush collection now through March 31. We already tried the Angel Açai Bowl from Blizzard Beach, so we hopped over to the Magic Kingdom for the next dish — the Elote Donald Duck Munchling-Inspired Almond-Vanilla Sweet Corn Cake.
The Corn Elote Donald Duck Munchling is available as a mini plush from the Garden Goodness mystery boxes.
Elote Donald Duck Almond Vanilla Corn Cake – $6.25
Almond-vanilla cake drizzled with Icing and topped with a Chocolate Hat and Bow
This is very similar to the Sweet Almond Corn Cake from 2022’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s smaller, served on a stick, and has different decorations, but the base elements are the same.
You can pick it up at the snack cart near Cinderella Castle.
Just like the Munchling, this has a corn smell but no corn flavoring. It’s an almond vanilla cake dribbled with vanilla icing to resemble cojita cheese and topped with a chocolate hat and bow.
The cake itself is really dry, which is unfortunate because the version we got at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was nice and moist.
The green sprinkles represent the cilantro and add a little crunch.
Aesthetically, it looks great. Unfortunately, it was so dry that we won’t be back for it again.
