We usually don’t order brie, but this was rather enjoyable. The cheese wasn’t too sharp or pungent, which makes it more acceptable. The bread was nice and soft, a perfect pairing for the creme. It also takes a cute picture thanks to the artwork on the bread and the napkin set up.

Croissant à la Truffe Noire d’Hiver: Black Winter Truffle Croissant – $9.50

This was a rich, buttery, crunchy croissant filled with truffles. It was creamy and warm inside. It was fine but nothing exceptional.

*NEW* Mille-Feuille de Betteraves aux Herbes et Noix de Cajoux: Plant-Based Napoleon with Beets, Cashew-Herb Filling, Pepper-Pine Nut Sauce and Balsamic Vinegar Caviar – $12.75

For the price, this feels like a total ripoff. The beets are NOT good.

The balsamic vinegar caviar is pretty good, but the dish is still lacking. The accompaniments are better than the beets, but that doesn’t redeem anything.

We can’t figure out why they would charge that much for this, especially when it’s this bad.

Moelleux aux Noisettes et Chocolats Valrhona: Molten Chocolate and Hazelnut Cake with Pure Origin Valrhona Chocolates and Passion Fruit-Mango Sauce – $9.00

In a slight change from years past, there’s now hazelnut inside, but you only taste it on the back end. This is a consistently good dessert, but pretty basic as it’s just a chocolate lava cake. It’s still worth ordering if you’re really into that, though.

Frozen French Martini: Grey Goose Vodka ($27/bottle), Vodka, Chambord Liqueur ($28/bottle), Pineapple, Orange and Grape Juices with Lemon-Lime Foam – $15.00

We expected this to be extremely sweet based on the description, however, this was a crowd-pleaser. It’s well-balanced and sweet, but not too sweet that you lose the essence of this delicious cocktail. You can really taste the grape juice in this one. The lemon-lime foam on top was somewhat flat, which was disappointing, but the Chambord is the highlight of the drink, pairing very well with the grape juice. This one gets a big thumbs-up from us.

Charles Lafitte, Brut Rosé Prestige, Méthode Traditionnelle Champenoise, French Rosé Sparkling Wine ($15/bottle) – $9.00

According to Drizly, this sparkling wine has a “beautiful pale pink color, with slightly salmon reflections,” “floral aromas of a spring bouquet of flowers with subtle notes of little red berries,” with a taste of “delicacy and freshness, soft and elegant notes of strawberry combined with wildflowers.”

*NEW* Domaine Raphael Sallet, Macon-Uchizy Les Maranches 2020, Chardonnay from Maconnais, Burgundy ($18/bottle) – $12.75

From Wine.com: “Typical of the single-village Macon style, this wine is unoaked and emphasizes the fresh fruit and floral character of the Chardonnay grape. It is fresh and clean with notes of white flowers, Asian pear, lime, and elegant minerality. Full of energy but not sharp, this is a dry white wine for light meals or just sipping with friends.”

*NEW* Cîroc Sunset Citrus Vodka Spritz (7.0% ABV) – $15.50

From Cîroc: “Sunset Citrus offers bright orange notes with a touch of stone fruit and a zesty finish.”
