We were lucky enough to view a full test of “Wondrous Journeys,” Disneyland Park’s new fireworks spectacular celebrating 100 years of Disney. The test was done after the park closed, but we could see the fireworks from just outside the gates.

Of course, the full show will have clearer music and projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle. At one point, the castle will become the Madrigal Casita from “Encanto.” Baymax from “Big Hero 6” will also fly over the castle instead of Tinker Bell. There will also be “Peter Pan” and “Sleeping Beauty” scenes.
The 13-minute show will debut on January 27 at 9:30 p.m. Cast Member previews will reportedly be held on January 26.
“Wondrous Journeys” is replacing “Disneyland Forever,” which has been performing on and off since 2015 when it debuted for the resort’s 60th anniversary. Its most recent run began on April 22, 2022, alongside the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade. Both the parade and Disneyland Forever ended on September 1, 2022. The park switched to Halloween Screams for the fall and is currently performing Believe… in Holiday Magic for the season.
“World of Color – ONE” will debut at Disney California Adventure, and the “Magic Happens” parade will return to Disneyland park for 100 Years of Wonder.
