We’re Warning You — Disney World’s New Burger Comes With Some Consequences

Do you know what food just SCREAMS “theme park?” A classic burger.

D-Luxe Burger

But Disney World isn’t always interested in being basic, so they’re trying to take things to the next level. We’ve tried some pretty delicious burgers around the parks and resorts (holla at that Steakhouse 71 Burger!), but now we’re hopping on over to Disney Springs to try out the French Onion Soup Burger…just the name has us drooling!

You can find this new item at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs. It’s made with two pressed signature blend patties with French onion ragù, gruyere, and an herb Parmesan Parker house roll. It comes with a Gruyère French onion dip on the side.

Look at that deliciousness.

We were seriously impressed by this burger, y’all! It had a really robust flavor and the patties were well-seasoned and juicy. The whole thing was very onion-forward and deliciously cheesy. VERY messy, but in the best way!

SO GOOD.

The cheese itself was rich and a little nutty, and the herb bun was fresh and lightly toasted. Surprisingly, it all held together really well for dipping in the soup.

We’d recommend it!

There wasn’t anything that we really thought was “bad” about this burger. It was a tad on the salty side, so if you’re sensitive to sodium it might be a bit too much for you. Other than that, we just thought that it was a little too expensive to not come with fries — it’s $13.49.

It held together pretty well!

If you’re an onion fan, we definitely recommend trying this one out, although we might give a slight edge to the French Bistro Burger at Connections Eatery in EPCOT (it’s a similar flavor palette and it comes with fries). If you’re averse to bad breath or you’re on a date, this might not be for you — that onion is STRONG! 😂 Alas, the consequences of eating delicious food.

We’ll continue to check out the latest food offerings in the Disney parks, resorts, and at Disney Springs, so stay tuned to DFB. We’re expecting some shake-ups in terms of Disney World snacks when the 50th Anniversary celebration ends in March, so hurry and take your trips if you want to try those eats before that’s over.
