Which Disney Attractions Have Aged Most Gracefully?

Hey, friends! I’m back to share some weekend Disney fun with you! When it comes to the end of the week, we like to throw the mic over to you to have your say on the day’s topic. Today we are looking at some of the attractions in our favorite Disney theme parks and which ones have aged gracefully. With Disneyland approaching its 70th anniversary and Walt Disney World wrapping up its 50th, some of these rides are living on well beyond what some critics would have initially expected. I would like to know what Dinsey attraction you think is aging the most gracefully. Whether it be the theming or the mechanics, what ride has held its magic throughout the years, more so than the rest?

As usual, I’m going to add my 2 cents first, and then we can see what everyone else thinks. I’ve had this topic in mind for a while now, and my answer actually inspired this month’s A Brief History of Disney topic; it’s Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Despite a significant relocation in each US park, both versions of this ride have remained mostly true to their original design and managed to keep their beauty and grace the whole time. Perhaps it has something to do with being an outdoor attraction where you can’t conceal the signs of age, like in a dark ride can; I’m not sure. All I know is that whenever I see this attraction, I’m impressed. Even if I am not in the mood to ride it, there is an elegance about it that remains intact.
