Did you catch any of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations?!
Just weeks remain of the epic birthday party, which means that now could be the perfect opportunity to plan a trip! And, just in case you haven’t visited the parks in a while, we’ve rounded up the latest construction updates from Disney World so you’re prepared!
Magic Kingdom
TRON: Lightcycle / Run
It’s Cast Member preview time over at TRON Lightcycle / Run! We’ve been gearing up for the ride’s opening day and can’t wait to share everything with you.
Annual Passholders and DVC Members will also get to preview the ride before it officially opens, and once details have been revealed for that we’ll let you know!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
We can’t see much behind the fence up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but things appear to be moving along. We can see the Tiana’s Foods sign up on the fencing, which is the company Tiana started after The Princess and the Frog ended.
We have a long way to go before this ride is ready to open at some point in 2024, so stay tuned for all the updates.

EPCOT
CommuniCore Hall & Plaza
At first, CommuniCore Hall was going vertical — but now it looks like it has spread out a bit! This will be one rather large hub for EPCOT festivals. We’re looking forward to all the events that will take place here!
In front of the hall will be CommuniCore Plaza, home to a sprawling garden and Dreamer’s Point. This area is slated to be finished sometime in 2023!
Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana
We’re seeing more and more trees over near the Moana-inspired attraction, and what looks like a new paved sidewalk as well! It appears to be behind the attraction, and will eventually connect parts of this rather large construction zone.
Journey of Water is opening later this year, and will be an immersive, walkthrough, water-based attraction that celebrates Disney’s iconic movie!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ
We’re just a short time away from the opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ on March 23rd, 2023! This rootin’ tootin’ barbecue restaurant will feature all you can enjoy table service in a fun atmosphere.
This week, we caught some crafty looking bunting added to the restaurant’s entrance!

Disney Springs
Summer House on the Lake
Crews are still working on the main structure for Summer House on the Lake, coming to Disney Springs later this year.
We ventured to the Chicago location to see what this new spot might be like, and you can see our full review below!

Disney Resort Hotels
BoardWalk Inn
The pool slide at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is currently under construction.
We’ll keep an eye out and let you know of any updates.
Polynesian Village Resort
We’re finally starting to see some progress at the Poly! Crews have begin pouring the initial concrete structure of…something! It could be part of the building, maybe a new pool — we’ll be on the lookout for more.
