A Disney Restaurant CLOSED — Here’s Where To Get Mickey Beignets Now!

Okay, so what’s your favorite Disneyland snack? Some of you might crave those hand-dipped corn dogs (YUM). Some of you might walk around the parks with a churro in each hand (guilty!).

So let’s also talk about those Mickey Beignets from Mint Julep Bar, because those are one of our favorites. But right now, the Mint Julep bar is closed. OH NO! 😮Don’t worry, though, because you’ll be able to get your Mickey Beignet craving satisfied elsewhere in the park.

So a little background info. here: a new restaurant, Tiana’s Palace, is coming to Disneyland. That restaurant will be located in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. To make way for that restaurant, though, Disney announced that it would be closing both French Market Restaurant and Mint Julep Bar. Both locations are now closed.

With Mint Julep Bar closed, that means no more Mickey Beignets, right? Well, the good news is that you can now get those same delicious Mickey Beignets from Royal Street Veranda. Whew! Had us worried there for a second, Disney! You’ll also be able to pick up a Mint Julep from there, too.

Tiana’s Palace will be replacing French Market Restaurant, but once Tiana’s Palace opens, Mint Julep Bar will return and that will be your go-to for those beignets. But for now, just know that you’ll have to temporarily pick those up somewhere else.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the construction of Tiana’s Palace, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
