Brick Fanatics has uncovered details about rumored “Jurassic Park” 30th-Anniversary LEGO sets thanks to information from French online retailer Jouéclub and Instagram user @exabrickslegogo.
Listings for the LEGO sets have gone up but photos aren’t available yet. There appear to be five anniversary sets.
The first set, 76957 Velociraptor Escape, includes an all-terrain vehicle, an enclosure with a tower, an escape function, a winch to lower food, a Velociraptor, and two minifigures. It is reportedly 137 pieces and $34.99.
76958 Dilophosaurus Ambush is said to be a 211-piece set for $19.99. It would be a jungle scene including a Dilophosaurus, a Jurassic Park Jeep, a Dennis Nedry minifigure, and a tiny bottle of shaving foam.
The number of pieces and price for 76959 Triceratops Search aren’t available yet. It will come with a Jurassic Park Ford Explorer vehicle that has a navigation system to track dinosaurs. It will also include minifigures of Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm, an articulated triceratops, a buildable pile of dung containing toxic berries, and a shovel.
Next up is 76960 Brachiosaurus Encounter for $79.99 with 512 pieces. It will include an articulated 24-cm tall Brachiosaur, a Jeep Wrangler vehicle, a tree with an observation platform and detachable leaves for feeding the dinosaurs, and minifigures of Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and John Hammond.
The largest set is inspired by one of the most iconic scenes of “Jurassic Park.” For ages 12 and up, 76961 Visitor Center: T. rex and Velociraptor Attack is a 693-piece set recreating the visitor center set piece with translucent wall panels, the restaurant, and labs. The set is said to include a T. rex skeleton, a banner that can be dropped with a trigger, a T. rex, a Velociraptor, and six minifigures: Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, Ray Arnold, Henry Wu, Lex Murphy, and Tim Murphy. It will measure 16 cm tall and 32 cm wide and reportedly retail for $119.99.
