EPCOT
- New themed lanterns are now hanging at the Journey of Water inspired by “Moana” construction site as more details keep arriving.
- Updated directional signage at the EPCOT entrance area is now in place as the park solidifies its new post-2019 refresh look.
Disney Springs
- The Dress Shop has returned to the Marketplace Co-Op following the removal of the National Geographic store.
- Also in shopping news, the UGG store will be permanently closing next week.
- There’s new Disney100 decor in the World of Disney Store, including a platinum Mickey statue!
New Merchandise
- We found a new yellow pleather pair of Minnie ears now available at the Magic Kingdom.
- It seems like a while since we saw new “Harmonious” merchandise, but that didn’t stop Disney from releasing a new pin for the soon-to-be-retired show!
- Speaking of EPCOT, we also found two adorable new Figment pins at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
- Tower of Terror fans won’t want to miss the new Hollywood Tower Hotel customizable items now available at MaDe kiosks around Walt Disney World!
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- All of the rugs in the lobby of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have been replaced with new bright orange and blue rugs.
Other Walt Disney World Resort News
- Operating hours for the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom have all been extended through April 1.
- An end date has also been announced for the Disney Dining Promo Card campaign which was previously open-ended.
- The bill for the state of Florida to take over the Reedy Creek Improvement District has passed the Florida Senate and now moves on to Governor DeSantis to sign.
- Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle publicly stated today that Disney is ready to work with the state on the newly-overhauled Reedy Creek Improvement District as well.
- Another of the mysterious digital signs has been installed on north World Drive near the Magic Kingdom.
Disneyland Resort
- The Haunted Mansion finally reopened today after its delayed removal of the holiday overlay.
- Sad news for the toons of Disneyland, the reopening of Mickey’s Toontown has been delayed by nearly two weeks!
The Walt Disney Company
- The 2023 Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Dress collection launched today in collaboration with Allure.
- Two more Disney100 The Eras collections are on the way — one called Decades and another focusing on Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
