We’re just over a month away from the opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a new restaurant in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and construction is nearing completion.
Construction walls came down earlier this week and were replaced with rolling planters. We could see beyond the planters that part of the sidewalk had been torn up.
Taking a look over the planters, we can see that the ground is where most work is still concentrated. The restaurant’s crayon-drawn façade is at least mostly completed, while Bullseye guards the covered sign. The lower part of the sign posts and short walls jutting to the sides are covered in plastic to keep them protected during construction.
There are large piles and trenches of dirt on either side of the entrance walkway.
Two cherry picker vehicles are parked between the sign’s archway and front doors. We can see “Howdy partners” above the doors. A crew member was working at a metal pole when we stopped by.
Like the rest of Toy Story Land, Roundup Rodeo BBQ is made to look like it was constructed out of various toys. The main building resembles a cardboard box.
Disney recently provided a look inside Roundup Rodeo BBQ and announced reservations would open next month.
