Mid-way through a stellar Hollywood career on both sides of the camera, Jon Favreau received a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame this week. It was the 2,746th star awarded on the Californian Boulevard, a credit that has previously been bestowed upon talented entertainment greats from all sectors of the industry. Robert Downey Jr. joined the proceedings, thanking the director for taking a chance on him. The actor’s appearance in the initial Iron Man movies, directed by the star’s recipient, arguably reignited Downey Jr.’s career.
