Guests can now purchase “Jurassic World”-themed boxed water instead of regular bottled water from snack carts at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
According to Boxed Water Is Better (which is branded on all of the boxed water), their boxes use 92% plant-based packaging and are the “most renewable package in the water aisle.” The packaging is 100% recyclable and refillable, while the water is 100% purified with no added minerals.
The “Jurassic World”-themed boxed water is available in Jurassic Park at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, as well as in The Lost Continent and Seuss Landing.
The boxed water is $6, while bottled water is $5.50.
These individual boxes of water are 16.9 oz or 500 ml and each one features a different dinosaur, as well as the iconic Jurassic Park T. rex logo.
On some of the boxes, the Jurassic Park logo is teal green. On others, it’s brown.
The boxes also have the logos for the “Jurassic World” franchise, Universal, and “E.T.,” although we saw no “E.T.” boxed water.
One box features the Mosasaurus.
Facts about the dinosaurs and their fossils are on the side.
Of course, the Velociraptor is featured.
The box shows off a Velociraptor footprint and claw.
The boxed water in The Lost Continent featured three different dinos: Triceratops, T. rex, and Stegosaurus.
