Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Guitar Pin – $12.99
This red pin features a guitar surrounded by roses.
“Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster” is on a ribbon wrapping around the fretboard, with “Merge like you’ve never merged before” across the body. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster logo is at the bottom.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Car Pin – $11.99
This pin is all silver and black, with a limo facing you. “Put the pedal to the metal” is across the top and bottom.
“Rock ‘n’ roll outta here” is on a ribbon behind the guitar and “G-Force Records” is above. Feathered wings sprout from behind it.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be closing later in February for a months-long refurbishment. Disney did not announce details about the refurbishment, but it would likely only include general maintenance, not any changes to the actual experience. However, this could change following a recent lawsuit against Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler for sexual assault. Disney has made no announcements regarding the refurbishment plans.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster opened in 1999 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In 2016, Disney digitally altered a hand gesture by Tyler that could be considered obscene.
The ride was also a 2002 opening day attraction in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris but was recently replaced by Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, which utilizes the same track.
