We’re about six weeks away from the grand opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the final touches are being added to the restaurant’s façade.
A new flat prop has been erected next to the entrance sign, but both are covered in tan tarps.
A tuft of brown sticks out of the top of the new flat prop, and comparing the construction site to concept art (below) reveals that this is Bullseye.
Many of the life-size props around the restaurant are meant to resemble cardboard cutouts and other makeshift toys.
Lanterns are tied onto the restaurant’s sign with giant green twist ties, an addition to the design since the concept art.
Like the rest of the land, there are various Tinker Toy pieces around the sign.
The actual building looks like a cardboard box with drawings of “Toy Story” characters on the front. We got a closer look at Jessie, Wheezy, and Bo Peep a few weeks ago.
Crew members were painting “cardboard” banners that hang above the main entrance, also visible in the concept art.
The banners will be painted red, white, and blue, like the American flag.
There are three rounded banners, but only one has been painted so far.
The other two are just black right now.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ will open on March 23, 2023. Check out the full menu and a first look inside.
