Universal Cinema, an AMC movie theatre located at Universal CityWalk Hollywood, has several original costumes from the movie “Cocaine Bear” on display in the lobby.
When you enter the lobby you can see the glass cases around the costume displays.
“Cocaine Bear” tells the story of an American black bear that ingests a duffle bag of cocaine. The film is inspired by true events that happened in 1985 in Georgia, where a bear ingested cocaine.
The ensemble cast includes Keri Russell, playing the character “Sari” who wears this hot pink jump suit in the film.
Alden Ehrenreich plays “Eddie Dentwood”. Ehrenreich also played Han Solo in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” in 2018.
O’Shea Jackson Jr. plays Daveed and wears this costume, complete with a retro baseball jersey. Jackson is the oldest son of rapper Ice Cube, and played his father in the 2015 film “Straight Outta Compton.”
Ray Liotta joins the cast in one of his final performances captured on film before his death in 2022. He plays the role of “Syd.”
“Cocaine Bear” is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 24, 2023. Are you planning to see it? Let us know in the comments.
