Protective plastic has been wrapped around the new TRON Lightcycle / Run snack stand and over the new glass paneling of Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.
The snack stand is in the courtyard outside TRON Lightcycle / Run, which will open to all guests on April 4, 2023.
The door on the side of the stand is now covered with plastic. A Slurry Vacuum was being used to pump something out of the stand, presumably water.
A plastic tarp also hangs over the windows at the front of the stand, which has overlapping rounded pieces that match the TRON architecture.
We don’t know what exactly the stand will sell, but a lightcycle-shaped popcorn bucket was available for TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai Disneyland when it first opened. We are hoping that this location may sell a light-up TRON popcorn bucket, similar to the version that was sold at Shanghai Disneyland.
The snack stand may or may not be available during Annual Passholder, Disney Vacation Club, or D23 Gold Member previews.
Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. is being rethemed and possibly renamed to go with TRON Lightcycle / Run. It will still be the gift shop for Space Mountain, too. This glass paneling, now covered in plastic, seems to be a window display.
There is no announced reopening date for Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. but it will presumably open before or around TRON Lightcycle / Run’s grand opening.
