It’s an exciting time to be a Disney World fan!
Between hotel refurbishments, restaurant additions, new rides, and more — a lot is on the horizon. With so many changes happening, it can be a lot to keep up with, so let’s check out the latest construction changes from around Disney World.
Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run
Previews are well underway for TRON Lightcycle / Run — and we got to experience the attraction as well! You can check out everything you need to know before you ride right here. Annual Passholder and DVC previews became available yesterday, but they both sold out within hours.
If you didn’t get the chance to snag a preview for TRON, you can still ride it when it opens on April 4th!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
We spotted some work being done near the track at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure — we hadn’t seen much going on due to the temporary walls up, but now it looks like some repairs have started.
We’re not entirely sure what might be going on behind the green tarp, but we’ll be keeping an eye on all the updates with this reimagined attraction!

EPCOT
CommuniCore Hall & Plaza
You can really see how expansive the construction area in the middle of EPCOT is! Connections and Creations can both be seen in the background, while quite a few building materials and machines have been moved in.
It also looks like there’s another building or structure being built in the center of this photo — we’ll keep an eye on what that might be!
Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana
Concrete walls have gone up over on one side of Journey of Water, and we can see some of the ground has been cleared so that the pathways can be installed.
You can see what some of the pathways will look like in the middle background of the above photo!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ
Bullseye has landed over at Roundup Rodeo BBQ! Woody’s sidekick is ready to greet guests once this restaurant officially opens.
And, the green fencing has come down! Disney replaced it with those famous construction bushes instead. We’re getting closer!
Mark your calendars for March 23rd, 2023 — and reservations will open up on February 21st!

Polynesian Village Resort
Crews have been working on installing pipes underground over at the Polynesian expansion. Once the groundwork has been laid, we’ll hopefully start to see more and more progress on this new DVC tower.
