Scrim and scaffolding have come down from the Croissant Moon Bakery façade in Port of Entry at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
The bakery remained open during the refurbishment project, guests just had to enter through another door.
The building looks like it is constructed from yellow and red clay.
The bakery is behind a small wall that separates the seating area from the main thoroughfare of the park’s entrance.
The façade has approximately the same design as before but looks freshly repainted and colorful.
The Croissant Moon Bakery sign is blue with bright yellow and orange lettering.
A croissant resembling a crescent moon is above the bakery’s name.
A circle right above the sign’s post is where a chain previously hung, connecting to the sign. Similar dirty spots can be seen above the door, where a small awning used to be. These elements may return in the next few days.
Bright wavy lines are on the wall above the door and window.
There are yellow grids above the windows and door, too.
Inside this display window are fake baked goods, including baguettes and croissant sandwiches, mixed in with crates, lanterns, and other props. It previously displayed a cornucopia.
A flowery curtain hangs in the lower half of the windows, behind flowerboxes. This window doesn’t show anything inside.
The chairs outside the bakery look similar to the old chairs but are teal green and gathered around circular tables.
There were previously more tables and they had blue umbrellas above them.
Like the awning and chain, more chairs, tables, and umbrellas may be added as the refurbishment wraps up.
The Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe’s façade was also enhanced last year.
