*NEW* Picanha Skewers – $10.99
beef sirloin cap, with chimichurri, smoked salt, and pão de queijo
The beef was dry and fatty, but the chimichurri saved it somewhat. Overall, we didn’t really like it and would recommend skipping it.
The pão de queijo (cheese bread) was delicious with both skewer dishes.
*NEW* Linguiça Skewers – $9.99
grilled Brazilian sausage with pão de queijo
The sausage was absolutely awful. It was greasy, rubbery, and inedible. Two of us tried it, and we both had to spit it out.
It honestly looked undercooked and was dripping. We’re thankful for the cheese bread and the drinks to cleanse our palate, but even they weren’t enough.
Chicken Coxinha – $5.99
tear drop chicken fritters
The chicken coxinhas were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.
The chicken inside is smooth, similar to croquette filling. These are one of the better offerings at the festival.
*NEW* Brigadeiros Trio – $5.99
Brazilian classic with condensed milk, cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, and hazelnuts
The brigadeiros trio is the winner here, although you can’t go wrong with the caipirinhas (below).
The brigadeiros are fudgy and rich with a strong cocoa taste.
The crunch from the sprinkles and nuts is a nice change of texture.
*NEW* Mango Caipirinha – $12 for 12 oz. single serve, $13.50 for 12 oz. souvenir cup, or $16.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup
Pirassununga Cachaça, Bols orange curaçao with lime juice, mango nectar, syrup, and simple syrup
This drink was tart with a good amount of alcohol without being too strong.
*NEW* Guava Caipirinha – $12 for 12 oz. single serve, $13.50 for 12 oz. souvenir cup, or $16.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup
Pirassununga Cachaça combined with guava nectar, lime juice, simple syrup, mint extract, and a pinch of salt
This one also had a good balance of alcohol but was sweet and fruity.
