*NEW* Twisted Frank with Cheddar Sauce – $14.99
stuffed twisted tater, foot-long hot dog, spicy white cheddar sauce, and your choice of seasoning: seasoned salt, garlic parmesan, sour cream & chives, or ghost pepper
We picked the garlic parmesan seasoning for our twisted frank.
It’s like a thicker, meatier Slim Jim.
It’s good, but the queso is everything. The white cheddar has Tabasco sauce in it, and it’s delicious. You can add the sauce as a side, and we recommend it for whatever twisted tater you choose.
Twisted Frank – $12.49
stuffed twisted tater with a foot-long hot dog, and your choice of seasoning: seasoned salt, garlic parmesan, sour cream & chives, or ghost pepper
Twisted Tater – $8.99
fried spiralized potato topped with your choice of seasoning: seasoned salt, garlic parmesan, sour cream & chives, or ghost pepper
You can’t go wrong with the classic seasoned salt. It’s more seasoning than salt and was soft (but not undercooked). However, the crispiness of your Tater may vary. Flavor-wise, we preferred this to the ghost pepper Twisted Tater. The ghost pepper didn’t have much flavor, but it burned. We couldn’t taste the ghost pepper, but we could certainly feel it.
*NEW* Oh Baby – $12 for 20 oz. single serve or 12 oz. souvenir cup, $14.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup
this custom brew is bursting with vanilla and cinnamon flavors on a base of sweet yet roasty malt
Category 5 Punch – $12 for 12 oz. single serve, $13.50 for 12 oz. souvenir cup, or $16.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup
Myers’s Dark rum, Cruzan Aged Dark rum, passion fruit purée, mixed with grenadine, orange, and lime juice
The drink is returning from last year, but it’s gone down in quality significantly.
It has a strange, sour aftertaste and is far too heavy on the syrups.
Goombay Smash – $12 for 12 oz. single serve, $13.50 for 12 oz. souvenir cup, or $16.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup
Cruzan Aged Dark rum, Don Q Coconut rum, Grand Marnier, Coco Lopez cream of coconut, mixed with pineapple, orange, and lime juices
This is a great take on the piña colada. The lime gives it a bit of tartness, and the cream of coconut is complementary rather than overpowering. You can taste the rum without a strong alcoholic taste. This was one of our favorite drinks at the festival.
Abita Purple Haze (ABV 4.2%) – $11.50 for 20 oz. single serve or 12 oz. souvenir cup, $14.50 for 20 oz. souvenir cup
a lager brewed with real raspberries, wheat malts, and Wanguard hops
