Marvel Studios has released a new poster for “The Marvels” and announced the film has been delayed until November 2023. It was previously scheduled for release on July 28, 2023.
The film will now hit theaters on November 10, 2023. It acts as a sequel to “Captain Marvel,” but also follows up on the stories of Monica Rambeau in “WandaVision” and Kamala Khan in “Ms. Marvel.”
“The Marvels” will see Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan switch places due to their connected powers. This continues directly from the end of “Ms. Marvel” season one, when Kamala disappeared and Carol took her place. Zawe Ashton portrays a so-far unnamed villain.
Exclusive footage shown at D23 Expo last year featured not only the main characters, but also Nick Fury, Kamala’s family, and Goose the cat/Flerken.
