Thunder Falls Terrace has reopened in the Jurassic Park area of Universal’s Islands of Adventure after a brief closure for a roof refurbishment.
The roof was damaged during Hurricane Ian, and half of the dining room closed in November to take care of a leak.
The other half of the dining room is now closed for similar reasons and black curtains cover the windows.
Inside, the black curtains and planters block the right side of the restaurant.
The other side, which was closed in November, is open for dining.
There are no visible signs of a leak, so hopefully, this side of the building is completely fixed.
Hurricane Ian also caused problems over at Jurassic Park River Adventure, which is closed for a refurbishment. Crews have started fixing the hole that was ripped into the side of the attraction’s show building.
